Benefits of Exercise and Strength Training

Regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health.

Playing sports and the benefits for the brain and body

The video below will explain all the benefits exercise and how playing sports helps the brain.

Why We Strength Train

"I work out because I am a professional athlete (boxing) and it is important to stay active. I workout 2-3 hours a day. For me it does not feel like work because I enjoy my sport. As a boxer I do a lot of thinking inside the ring. The sport I am in requires a lot of mental focus."-Jaydon Vigil

I workout because it changed me as a whole person. I never knew I could get to a point in my life where I am now. Now I am a bodybuilder and train in strength training. Have been being active for about 4+ years and I am a gym rat. I hope to compete in a strength competition someday. The contraction of my muscles has to be deeply focused in order to build sized and strength and that is why mind and body is important.

"I started working out daily about 7 years ago. I have done everything from yoga and mat pilates to lifting weights. At first, it was about aesthetics, now it's about the feeling. Over the years, I have used exercise to help with my stress, anxiety and improving my mood. It's good for the brain and the body!"
